19/01/2010 - Helena Jansson a swedish star in Sport Gala

 

Monday 18th January 2010 has run off the Sport Gala at the Globe Arena of Stockholm, the most important sport event of Sweden, for the best athletes of every discipline of 2009.
The prize-giving has been broadcasted at 20.00 by SVT1, the main TV channel in Sweden, with a audience of about 2,5 millions of people (Sweden has 9 millions inhabitants).
10 athletes have been rewarded and among these the Orienteering World Champion (sprint) Helena Jansson who will participate at MOC-Mediterranean Open Championship next february 26th -28th 2010 in Gargano. (Helena Jansson will already be in Puglia from 20th february for a training camp).
On the podium of Sweden Sport Gala: Sarah Sjöström (swimming), Robin Söderling (tennis) Zlatan Ibrahimovic (football)
The same reward was given in 1995 to one of the best Orienteering champion: Jörgen Mårtensson, who will be present in Gargano with a fan group.
