During the much-awaited O-Ringen in Jönköping, Sweden, one of the world’s most important orienteering events, we experienced a very special moment: some athletes from the Swedish national elite team came to visit us at the PWT stand in the heart of the event.
For years, being present at O-Ringen has been more than just a participation for us: it is a valuable opportunity to strengthen our international presence, create new connections and intensify our relationships with the Swedish orienteering community, which is among the most active and passionate in Europe.
But this year, besides maps and routes, there was something new in the air. Scent of Puglia. Amidst flyers, roll-ups and tales of sporting adventures, the spotlight shone on one of our most authentic and valued partners: Olio della Valle, which has been supporting our project with passion and quality for two years.

And it was precisely this oil – fruit of the sun, the earth and the Apulian tradition – that was the protagonist of an exclusive tasting reserved for a group of exceptional athletes: Vilma Von Krusenstierna, August Mollen, Simon Imark, Frida Vikstrom, accompanied by Håkan Carlsson, general team manager of the Swedish national team.
Their verdict? Enthusiastic. The quality and authentic taste of the oil won over even the most sporting palates.
These are the moments that make us proud. Because behind every race, every stand, every tasting, there is a vision: to unite sport, culture and territory, bringing people, stories and flavours together.
And it doesn’t end there. Some of these athletes we will meet again soon, in October, in beautiful Sardinia for the Five + Five 2025. It will be a new chapter, another opportunity to share our passion for orienteering and for Italy.
