Campionati Italiani Sprint e Long Distance 2019 di corsa orientamento
Due titoli tricolori Elite per il PWT Italia orienteering team di Alonte, grazie a Riccardo Scalet, vincitore sia della sprint che della long distance. Argento per Sebastian Inderst (long) e Carlotta Scalet (sprint).
Bene il vivaio giovanile con Alessandro Bedin, Edoardo Piazza e Gugliemo Viale. In crescita, dopo l’infortunio e la laurea in Ingegneria anche Anna Giovanelli.
Si sono disputati il 7/8 settembre 2019 i Campionati Italiani di corsa Orientamento per le specialità sprint e long distance, in Trentino, rispettivamente a Folgaria e a Millegrobbe (Lavarone)
Il PWT Italia orienteering team di Alonte due titoli tricolori Elite grazie a Riccardo Scalet, vincitore sia della sprint che della long distance. Altre due preziose medaglie elite arricchiscono il già importante palmeres stagionale: argento per Sebastian Inderst (long) e per Carlotta Scalet (sprint).
Subito dopo i campionati italiani sono state diramate dal ct Mamleev le convocazioni per il round 3 di Coppa del Mondo che si terrà in Svizzera a fine settembre con ben 3 le maglie azzurre per gli atleti del PWT Italia: Riccardo Scalet, Sebastian Inderst e Carlotta Scalet.

Italian Orienteering Sprint & Long Distance Championships 2019 on the Folgaria Plateau.
Two Elite Titles for the PWT Italia Orienteering Team from Alonte, with Riccardo Scalet winning both the Sprint and Long Distance. Silver medal for Sebastian Inderst (Long) and Carlotta Scalet (Sprint).
Good experience also for the youth- and junior- team with Alessandro Bedin, Edoardo Piazza and Guglielmo Viale. Nice improvement signs also by Anna Giovanelli, our freshly degreed engineer, who struggled with an injury throughout the season.
7th and 8th September 2019 were the dates to mark on every Orienteering calendar in Italy, as the National Sprint and Long distance Championships were taking place in Folgaria and Millegrobbe (Lavarone, where the WOC2014 Long Final was held).
The PWT Italia Team from Alonte won two prestigious Elite titles with Riccardo Scalet succeeding in both the Sprint and Long distance. Two more medals added to a very successful weekend, with Sebastian Inderst 2nd in the Long distance and Carlotta Scalet 2nd in the Sprint.
Right after the Championships the Italian National Team ct. M.Mamleev published the teams for the coming international venues, the World Cup Rounds in Switzerland at the end of September and China later in October. Three PWT Italia athletes Carlotta Scalet, Sebastian Inderst and Riccardo Scalet, were selected.
