Il Fenomenale 2021 del PWT Italia

Founded in 2001, Park World Tour Italia (PWT Italia), and in 2007 as a recognized event-organizing commette, PWT Italia is an active sport promotours, an orienteering Italian ambassador in all of its specialties, together with a number of outdoor sports, activities, and events all around the globe.  Such a great success couldn’t have been reached without the support of PWT Organisational/Olympic Project, founded in 1996, and actively guided by the legendary World Champion Jörgen Mårtensson.

PWT Italia participate also in the organisation of 5 Days of Italy, as well as many other international events, in 2022 the IOF International Orienteering Federation has indeed identified PWT Italia as the perfect organiser of the World Master Championships WMOC2022 in Gargano, Puglia. 

PWT Italia is also the most recognised and prestigious Elite Orienteering Team in Italy, and 2021 has surely been a golden year in terms of results for all of its members. An historic Bronze Medal at the World Cup Finals signed by Riccardo Scalet, has been the cherry on the cake of a season full of international, national and regional successes. In particular 3 Italian Individual Championships titles in 2021, Relay Titles in 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, over 18 Italian Championships Elite Gold Medals since 2016, and 5 Bronze medals assigned by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI). PWT Italia’s runners are a central part of the Italian National Team, with 6 athletes in the Senior Team and 2 in the Junior squad. 

Races in 2021 and 2022 Calendar

In 2021 PWT Italia has organised the first round of Italian Cups in Lonigo and Montecchio Maggiore, as well as the Elite Training Week of MOC Camp. 

In June 2021 has coordinated the organization of a MTBO Italian Cup race in Villaga and the Trofeo delle Regioni in Sardinia. 

Later in the Autumn three more weeks of International orienteering events from the Italian Alps, all the way to Sicily and Sharm El Sheikh, with the 5 Days Land of Venice; la 5 Days Domina Zagarella Sicily; la 5+5 Domina Coral Bay, as well as Team Building activities.

2022 will kick-off with a week of training at Domina Coral Bay in sunny Sharm El Sheikh, followed by the organisation of National Races in Puglia, the World Masters’ Championships and a rich Autumn of events signed by Domina Resorts.

Riccardo Scalet (Capitain) – Bronze medal at the World Cup Middle. Silver Medal at the Junior World Championships. Gold Medal at the European Junior Championships. 5 CONI merits medals. FKT of ascent of Mount Sinai .

Carlotta Scalet (Elite) – 4 Gold Medals at the Elite Italian Championships. 7 Gold Medals at the Junior Italian Championships. World Championships Finalist and member of the Italian Team since 2004.  

Anna Giovanelli (Elite) – Gold Medal at the Italian Relay Championships 2019. Junior Italian Championships Gold Medals. Member of the Italian Team since 2014. 

Giulia Dissette (Junior) –  5 Gold Medals at the Junior Italian Championships. New Entry in the PWT Italia Team since 2021. 

Annarita Scalzotto (Junior) – 2 Silver Medals at the Italian Junior Championships. Member of the National Team since 2018. 

Guglielmo Viale (Junior) – 4 Silver Medals at the Regional Champioships. 3 Bronze Medals at the Regional Championships. 6th place at the Italian Championships.  

Alessandro Bedin (Junior) – Silver Medal at the Italian Youth Championships. 3 Gold Medals at the Regional Championships. 

Sebastian Inderst (Elite) – 4 Gold Medals at the Italian Elite Championships. Gold Medals at the Junior Championships. Member of the Italian Team since 2014. 

Lukas Patscheider (Elite) – 1 Gold Medal at the Elite Italian Championships. 4 Gold Medals at the Junior Championships. Gold Medal the Ski-O Championships. Member of the Italian Team since 2015. Tommaso Scalet (Elite) – 4 Gold Medals at the Elite Championships. 3 CONI merits medals. Member of the Italian Team 2005 – 2021.  

Natalia Gemperle (Elite) – 2 Gold Medals at the World Championships. 4 Silver Medals at the World Championships. 5 Bronze Medals at the World Championships. 

Veronika Kalinina (Elite) – 2 Gold Medals at the Junior World Championships. 1 Silver Medal at the Junior World Championships. Gabriele Viale: Team Manager
