Last week, from January 14th to 17th, managers of PWT Italia visited the places where we will run the Moc 2020 – Mediterranean Open Championship that will be presented at the BIT in Milan on 11 and 12 February 2020 – to check the race courses, hotel efficiency, opinions of local authorities and population: our athletes are everywhere expected with the typical welcome of Southern Italy.
The Municipality of Policoro, for example, is restoring its forest heavily affected by a storm last November and the Mayor of Celenza will reopen the hostel near the Sanctuary of the “Madonna Delle Grazie” for our athletes.
In Celenza, PWT Italia met the Mayors of six Daunia Municipalities before a visit to Matera and Castellaneta and a final meeting with six other Mayors in Policoro.
According to private contributions, at last, local Consortia and Companies will contribute at the race with welcome bags with typical local products as oranges, pomegranate, olives oil and wine, just to appreciate the local products.
From the City of Matera to the little Tursi, South of Italy is waiting for the Moc 2020 and the numerous participants already registered.
