What does Safe Guarding mean?

Safe Guarding means preventing and countering any form of abuse, violence, or harmful behavior towards vulnerable individuals, such as minors and at-risk adults. This includes protection policies, staff training, and active prevention measures to ensure a safe and respectful environment.

The objectives

Prevention

Implement measures to reduce the risk of abuse or inappropriate behavior.

Training

Raise awareness and train staff to recognize and manage critical situations.

Reporting

Create safe and anonymous channels for reporting inappropriate behavior.

Monitoring

Ensure continuous compliance with safeguarding policies through regular checks and updates.

How PWT Italia Supports the Implementation

The compliance with the regulations regarding the ‘Safeguarding Policy’ requires Sports Clubs and Amateur Sports Associations to adopt an organizational and control model (MOG).

The MOG for sports activities is associated with a code of conduct for the protection of minors and the prevention of harassment, gender-based violence, and any other form of discrimination as outlined in Legislative Decree No. 198 of April 11, 2006, or based on ethnicity, religion, personal beliefs, disability, age, or sexual orientation.

Following these premises, the Board of Directors of PWT ITALIA SSD has approved the Safeguarding_MOG PWT ITALIA_2024 along with the related Code of Conduct, available at the following link.

Send the reports required by the Safeguarding_MOG PWT ITALIA SSD_2024 to Sibiglia Katiuscia, the Safeguarding Officer of PWT ITALIA SSD, through direct contacts or via email at katiuscia@goldnet.it.
