ITALIAN SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 – PISA PWT Italia takes centre stage: Dallera national champion again, Lucchetta on the podium, Attinger unstoppable
May 23, 2026 – Pisa. A day to remember for Park World Tour Italia at the 2026 Italian Sprint Orienteering Championships, held today through the streets and alleyways of Pisa. Our athletes delivered in grand style, once again establishing the club as one of the most competitive forces on the national racing scene.
Caterina Dallera has written her name into the history books once more: with her victory in the Elite Women’s category, our PWT Italia standard-bearer claims her 2nd consecutive sprint title and the club’s 36th Italian national title — an extraordinary record that speaks for itself. Dallera ran a composed, precise race, worthy of a true champion.
Also stepping onto the women’s podium is Jessica Lucchetta, who finishes with a brilliant bronze medal in the Elite category. A strong, determined race that confirms her continued growth and the quality of our women’s squad.
On the men’s side, Florian Attinger put on a pure spectacle: our Swiss-registered athlete dominated the Elite Men’s race to claim overall victory. Florian carried the PWT colours with great authority, proving once again that he is an athlete of the very highest international level.
A magnificent day of orienteering under the Pisan sun, with PWT Italia once again right at the heart of the action. Congratulations to all our athletes, coaches and organisational team!
