Another decisive race weekend has just ended. The athletes who will wear the Italian t-shirt at the World Cup in Sweden from 18 to 22 June and at the World Championships in Finland from 7 to 12 July were selected in the woods of Loden (BZ). Seven PWT athletes competed to earn a place in the national team: Jessica Lucchetta, Guenda Zaffanella, Celeste Pretto, Sebastian Inderst, Marco Anselmo Di Stefano, Fabio Amadesi and Mattia Debertolis. We have finally reached the heart of the season, and this weekend the Park World Tour athletes took part in several competitions in Italy and abroad. In Italy, two Italian Cup trials were held between Bobbio and Ceci: a sprint on Saturday and a middle-distance race on Sunday. Meanwhile, two team members competed in Sweden in the Swedish League (Swedish Championships), taking part in two middle-distance races and running alongside some of the world's strongest athletes. ASOM is a sprint event that has been bringing hundreds of athletes from all over the world to run on the maps of Belgium since 2015. This weekend, several PWT athletes took part in the Italian Cup long-distance events and the Italian Middle Distance Championships, held in the Pollino National Park, between the provinces of Cosenza and Potenza.
