ABOUT ME
I am Annarita Scalzotto, born in 2002, and I graduated in Modern Literature at the University of Trento. Since I was ten years old, orienteering has always been one of my greatest passions. In 2021, I was fortunate enough to join the PWT team: it was a fundamental step for my athletic growth. That same year, I had my first experiences with the national senior team, competing at the European Orienteering Championships in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
My junior years were the best: I still remember my first JWOC in Turkey in 2021— I was inexperienced but eager to grow. A year later, at the JWOC in Portugal, thanks to the invaluable support of my team and the junior national squad, I managed to secure 13th place in the sprint.
For the past few years, alongside being an athlete, I’ve also been working for the team in the communication and social media department. Nevertheless, competitive sports remain a goal I want to keep pursuing.
